“I love working from home! I get to work in my pajamas!” How many times have you heard these jealousy-inducing phrases slip from between the lips of a work at home mom? Perhaps you have said it yourself a couple of times. Granted, that is one of the benefits of working from home – there is no dress code. You can wear (or not wear) whatever you want. However, it has been suggested by many people who study work at home productivity that you actually do take the time to get dressed.

When it comes to business, many of us get caught up in the how’s. How will I attract new customers? How will I market my product/service to my target market in such a manner that will get them to take action? How will I sponsor more people onto my team? How will I increase my monthly sales? However, these how’s are not truly the backbone of your business. Yes, they are important factors that you need to consider, but what you really need to identify and focus on are your why’s. If you take a poll among WAHMs, asking them what is the one thing that frequently goes undone, you will likely find that a lot of WAHMs feel that the household chores go neglected more than anything else. However, it is important that we keep the household running in some semblance of order, right? But with all of the things that we have on our plates, it is very helpful when you are able to get some help in getting things done. That is why I am such a fan of chore charts. They help you to ensure that the household is running smoothly without you having to do it all yourself. Having chores can also have the added benefit of teaching your kids about responsibility, work ethic, and being part of a team. I love the Spring. It always feels so magical watching the colors bring life to all that was once asleep not so long ago. When I was young, I used to dream of magical fairies helping the beautiful gardens grow. Today we are gonna take a look inside "Bach's Flower Essence Fairies" from Color Happy. This Adult Coloring Book was designed to bring your fairy dreams to life through your joy of coloring. One misconception that a lot of people seem to have is that if you work from home, you have to have an entire room that is dedicated to your work. While having an official home office is, of course, ideal, the reality is that most of us don’t have a home office. We have what I would call office space. This could be an entire room, or it could be the corner of a room. It could even be one of those cute storage buildings set up on your property that you see for sale locally, and you turned into your own office (That's my dream speaking, LOL). In the end, regardless of your budget or available space, all that really matters is that you have a space in your house carved out for you to be productive in. |
