Hey! I have a quick question for you. Do you have a blog or your website? You do? Great! Do you use it to promote your business? Yeah? Awesome! I can see that you are on the right track. I have one more question for you. Do you have a post or page on your site that is all about your hostess rewards program? If your answer is no, then we need to remedy that. If your answer is yes, you might still want to stick around for some tips on how you can tweak your Hostess Rewards post to get more bookings. Now, for those of you who don’t have a blog or website that you use for your business, I want you to really consider getting one. I know that you likely have a replicated website that is offered by your company. Those are great for processing orders, however, they don’t really presell your customers and leads. And they also don’t do much when it comes to getting people to book parties. You want something personalized that you can send people to that tells them everything that YOU want them to know. So go ahead and create a blog or website (they are a lot easier to set up than you might think) and then come back here once you have it set up. Ok, so let’s talk about how you can create a blog post about your hostess rewards program. This can be used to both entice people to book a party with you and to serve as a reminder to your hostesses about what they stand to earn for hosting a successful party. Below are some things that I think every Hostess Rewards blog post should include: Tip #1: Talk about why they should book a party. Tell them about how fun they are, how they are a great opportunity to get their friends together, how they will get the chance to try out the products that you offer, and how they will have the chance to earn free and discounted products. Tip #2: Talk about how the party works. Tell them their basic duties as a hostess – inviting their friends, getting them excited, and then getting them to the party. Tell them about how you play a couple of games and then spend some time telling everyone about the awesome products. You can even highlight some of the products that you will be showcasing. Also talk about how you take orders at the end of the party to determine the hostess rewards Tip #3: Talk about the hostess rewards. This is the point when you talk about all of the things that your hostess can earn. Talk about the rewards that your company provides and any that you provide. Free products. Special, limited-time items. Exclusive products. Half-price or discounted products. Gift certificates. Free shipping. Taxes waived. Shopping sprees. Anything and everything that you offer to your hostesses should be featured here. If you have any images or charts available, definitely use them. People are visual. Tip #4: Be sure to include any limitations or caveats so that people know them up front and there is no confusion. For example, if your company requires you to have a qualifying party in order for the hostess to receive her rewards, then you need to be sure to let them know exactly what makes a party qualified. You don’t want to have any misunderstandings about this. Tip #5: Highlight any products that are popular hostess gifts. If you have any testimonials or videos of those products, include them. They can get people excited about earning them. Tip #6: Include any additional ways that people can earn free products, such as by referring people who book parties or place an outside order. Tip #7: Let them know how they can book a party with you and the dates that you have available. This makes it easier because when they contact you, they will already have some dates in mind. What else would you include in your Hostess Rewards blog post?
