When it comes to having home parties, I think that we are too stuck on the ‘home” part of it. Who said that you have to have the party at someone’s home?

The face of direct sales has changed a lot over the years. Once upon a time, direct sellers were most likely found going from door to door looking for potential clients. Now much of what we do in this industry has moved online. In this technological age, social media is king, so it should come as no surprise that people have found a way to move the parties from the home and onto the internet. When most people think of direct sales home parties, they probably think of cases where a hostess invites her friends and family to her party. That is the traditional type of party and while these can be great fun, there are other types of parties that you can introduce to your potential customers. I want to take some time to talk to you guys about some of these innovative party types so that you can mix it up a bit! I was recently doing some research on closing techniques and I realized that there is a reason so many people are leery of salespeople. There are some really horrible sales techniques out there! My goodness! I felt like running away from my laptop just reading about them, so I can imagine how I would feel if someone were actually trying to use one of these techniques on me. So I wanted to take some time to tell you what I personally find to be HIGHLY unappealing when it comes to closing a sale. If you have a party plan business, you might come across a number of objections that people have about booking parties. Below are 10 common booking objections and some verbiage that you could use to overcome them. Just as with any major life decision, when people are deciding whether or not to pursue a business opportunity, they may have a few concerns (or objections). Here are 10 of the top recruiting objections that you may face as well as suggested verbiage for how you can overcome them. The honest truth about direct sales is that you don’t have to be a natural salesperson to be successful. Many people who have achieved high levels of success probably started out as newbies with little to no real sales experience. However, the thing that set them apart is that they learned how to improve their sales skills. And one aspect of that is knowing how to successfully overcome sales objections. Today I would like to talk about the top 10 sales objections you will likely encounter and give you practical advice on how to address them. There are many benefits of working from home as a direct seller and affiliate marketer. You have the ability to set your own schedule each day. The compensation plan is typically much more lucrative than hourly pay or annual salary would allow. There are no caps on how much you can earn. The terms for receiving a promotion are clearly underlined and adhered to. The list goes on and on. However, there is one benefit that many people don’t really consider - tax deductions. When it comes to network marketing, one thing that not everyone understands is that people are not really buying your products and services. They are buying YOU! So what are you doing that helps you to stand out from the rest. Unfortunately, the answer in most cases is either not very much or nothing at all. If you are not doing something to stand out from the crowd, chances are you won’t achieve the level of success that you hope to achieve. Today I want to talk to you about some of the creative marketing techniques that I have seen. Of course, these techniques in and of themselves are utilized by a lot of people. However, the beauty of each one is that you can take that idea and put your own very unique spin on it. You just have to be willing to think outside of the box a bit. “I think that this is a very interesting product, but it seems a little too good to be true.” “I’m not sure if it will work.” “I really want to try it, but I don’t have any money to waste if it turns out to not be what I need.” “I’ve heard a lot of great things about this, but I’ve tried other things and none of them worked. I’m too nervous about spending the money and being disappointed.” If you have spent any time in the world of direct sales, chances are you are pretty familiar with these common objections. Objections are a part of this business that everyone deals with. Even the people who have a tremendous amount of success are still faced with objections. The key to having success is learning how to overcome these objections or to even address them before the person has the opportunity to bring them up. |
